This was actually the third bag I made in this style, but I forgot to take pictures of the other two. I like this style because the lining folds out to make the binding along the top. I also like the one strap instead of two. Makes it super-simple. I use fusible interfacing on the outside and inside to give it enough body to stand up on its own, I got the idea here.

Breakfast anyone?
I planned to just make eggs, bacon and oranges.
(I put chenille stems in the bacon to shape it.)
Then I made this little bag for all of the food.
Another new technique...sewing on vinyl.
Another new technique...sewing on vinyl.
Great trick I learned...cover the presser foot and face plate with scotch tape
so it doesn't stick to the vinyl. Worked great.
Christmas This and That
This raincoat is for Z's American Girl doll. It was a fun challenge.
I used iron-on vinyl which was a bit of a trick.
Doll quilt number ??? Definitely not the last one.
Made with my favorite wonky squares.
I made this bag for a gift but almost had to keep it for myself.
Little Keepsake
This miniature wall hanging I made for Claire has some special meaning to me. The lace squares were from my grandma, and the buttons are from my mom's collection.
