For Baby

Can't wait to meet the newest member of the family.  Had fun working on this quilt for the sweet little one.

If you give a mouse a cookie...

or if a lady buys a new purse...she will have to make a matching clutch to go with it.  I bought a purse that I love, but that is so not me!  Since it was too hot to be outside today, I decided to look through my stash of material and found the perfect fabric for a clutch.  Here it is.

I've given away all the other clutches I've made.  But I think someone will have to pry this one out of my hands to get it.

Fabric Swap

I'm participating in a fabric swap.  I send in 20 sets of 10 different prints cut into 4" squares.  And I get back 200 different squares.  Can't tell you yet what the squares are for--keep guessing.

Mia's Quilt

Finally finished this quilt for Mia.  It has blocks that Mom (Vieanna) embroidered.  I think all of the grandkids have a quilt made from Mom's nursery blocks now (except Emily but I have blocks for her.)

Montana Quilt

Bruce bought me a kit for this quilt when we were in Montana probably 6 or 7 years ago.  I had worked on it off and on, but now I have it done.

Oops.  I cut the backing too short.  So I cut some little squares out of leftover material.  Then I pieced them into a row, added it on the end, and then added another piece of backing.  What I thought was going to be a disaster turned out to be one of my favorite parts of the quilt.

There was no material for binding in the kit.  So I cut some strips out of the leftovers to make a binding.  I like the scrappy look of the binding a lot.

Gathered Clutch

This is the third little clutch I've made.  I love to make them.  It only takes about 45 minutes.  This isn't my favorite color combination of fabrics, but it's ok.

I like the little pocket inside for a credit card.

Cardtable Playhouse

I made this playhouse after seeing a similar one on someone else's blog.  It's all made out of felt.

Lucas and Sophie had fun mailing letters.

The flowers can be picked.

Most of the items are attached with velcro so they can be moved around.
Of course, we had to have a doghouse for Buck.
