These simple drawstring bags are for the grandkids. (I think I can make a bag, start to finish, in 10 minutes.) When the kids open their stockings, they have a place to stash all their little goodies. I'll keep the bags at my house to use year after year. My new favorite thing is making the ties out of knit material, usually old t-shirts. (Goodwill is my new best friend.) If you cut the tie with the stretch of the material, it's acts almost like elastic.
